SeeStorm 3D Avatars Are Ready for Global Events

SeeStorm, the pioneer developer of synthetic video technologies and products, is announcing that OnEmotion AG, a leading Swiss mobile content and service provider, will be using SeeStorm 3D talking character software platform to launch a number of mobile value-added services for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2008^TM tournament.

The next UEFA European Football Championship^TM, one of the major sporting events in Europe, will be held in Austria and Switzerland in June 2008. OnEmotion AG, in partnership with UBS AG, a global financial services company acting as national supporter and official bank of UEFA EURO 2008^TM, is launching a global multifunctional web portal completely dedicated to the Championship.

The portal will include SeeStorm-powered avatar functionality: users will create 3D avatars either from own photos or from portraits of football players, and animate them by their speech greetings. Synthetic video movies can be used, e.g., for handset personalization, or sent to a mobile recipient as a multimedia message. Besides these basic features, the portal developers plan to provide users with other engaging avatar services.
